Browns Strike Gold Against The Niners

The Browns were faced with a tall task. The 5-0 San Francisco 49ers came to Cleveland the Browns were going to go to war without Deshaun Watson, Nick Chubb, & Joel Bitonio. Everything was against Cleveland, a fully healthy 49ers team, a Quarterback in Brock Purdy who hasn't lost a regular season game, and not to mention PJ Walker is starting despite being on the team for only a week. Everyone around the globe counted the Browns out, many were curious about how many points San Fran would win by. But you know the saying, any given Sunday.

PJ Walker played the perfect role as game manager, the stat line won't blow you away but he made enough plays to help lead the team down the field to seal the win. The Browns defense however showcased their dominance and proved to the league they are to be taken seriously. The defense held a top three offense in the league to 215 total yards, 107 passing/108 rushing. Martin Emmerson was the beneficiary of Brock Purdy’s first Interception of his career in the regular season. Despite the great showcase on defense, it still came down to Jake Moody missing the game winning field goal to officially put San Fran away. Easily the best win for the Browns in the regular season under Kevin Stefanski.

Apologies for the delay in articles. I’ve been dealing with personal matters & have been slacking on busting these out for everybody. I won’t give any update on the Colts game, as that took place yesterday. This Thursday I'll have a synopsis of that game plus a preview for the upcoming game against Seattle this Sunday. Been a fun & crazy couple of weeks to be a Browns fan, but it is nothing we aren't used to. As always, Go Browns!
